CASA will be a volunteer night every first Wednesday of each month.

Where? CASA de Maryland at 734 University Blvd. E, Silver Spring, MD 20903

When? Every first Wednesday of the month. 5pm-9pm

Description: CASA de Maryland will be hosting weekly volunteer nights the first Wednesday of every month, and we need your help! Projects and tasks will vary but might include phone banking, translations, calling community members, document preparation, and helping with our data entry.

Skills: We need all skills and talents. No need to speak Spanish or know how to use a computer, though both are valuable.

Requirements: Please bring a picture ID with you to the reception area; we will have our sign-up table there.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at CASA. Currently we are asking volunteers for a minimum time commitment of 2 months, 1 day (or 8 hours) a week. Specific volunteer opportunities, requirements, and contact information for each volunteer opportunity are listed below. Please allow two weeks for someone to respond to your inquiry. Due to high interest in volunteering at CASA, we cannot respond to every inquiry. If you do not hear from us in two weeks, unfortunately we are not able to place you in a volunteer opportunity right now. We encourage you to check back in the future for new volunteer opportunities, and to join our volunteer list below.

If these opportunities are not a good fit for you, we also occasionally have a call for volunteers to join us at community fairs, mobilizations, to help with time-sensitive projects, to respond to action alerts and other calls for assistance, and to build our network of supporters.
