INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
CASA offers unpaid internship opportunities to students and others for professional growth and, in certain circumstances, academic credit. Please click on the links below for the internship description, requirements, and application instructions.
Our process is simple: we look through the incoming petitions to see which ones best match our open internship opportunities and contact the people we would like to learn more about. Unfortunately, we are unable to personally speak with everyone who sends us a petition, but please do not be discouraged if you do not hear from us. We will keep your CV on file for at least three months in case a future internship position matches your qualifications.
Please note that due to high interest in making internships at CASA, we cannot respond to every inquiry. If you do not hear from us in two weeks, unfortunately we are not able to place you in a internship opportunity right now. Please allow two weeks for someone to respond to your inquiry.We encourage you to check back in the future for new internship opportunities.
VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at CASA. Ussually we are asking volunteers to bring a photo ID and colaborate with us for a minimum time commitment of 2 months, 1 day (or 8 hours) a week. Specific volunteer opportunities, requirements, and contact information for each volunteer opportunity are listed below. Also, you can send us an email to hr@casamd.org describing why you would like to voluteering at CASA, your schedule available, your interest and skills. Please, write in the subject the word VOLUNTEER.

If these opportunities are not a good fit for you, we also occasionally have a call for volunteers to join us at community fairs, mobilizations, to help with time-sensitive projects, to respond to action alerts and other calls for assistance, and to build our network of supporters. We would be glad to add you to our volunteer database for these future opportunities. Finally, volunteers can help by donating to CASA – either with cash donations, pledges, or in-kind goods.
